Monday, February 2nd, is the feast of the Presentation of our Lord in the temple. It is the custom for people to bring candles to church on this feast day, and for these candles to be blessed at Mass.  People then take these candles home and light them on special occasions.

We will celebrate the Feast of St. Blaise, at Mount St. Alphonsus, on Monday, February 4th, 2013.  Blessing of throats will take place at the 8am, 10am, & 7.15pm Masses.  Also at the 8pm Men’s Archconfraternity Meeting.
