The Annual Solemn Novena in honour of Our Mother of Perpetual Help takes place at Mount St. Alphonsus, Limerick from June 13th to June 21st, 2014.  Click on ‘read more’ to access all aspects of the novena.

As part of our lenten series of talks Doras Luimni will come and present an information evening on their work with migrants, and those caught up in human trafficking, on Tuesday night, March 25th at 7.45pm.  It will take place in the monastery conference room, entry through the monastery reception / shop area.  It’s free, and all are welcome.

As part of a series of Lenten Talks and Information Evenings, St. Helen Culhane, founder of the Children’s Grief Project, will give a talk about the project, and the work they do, in the Redemptorist Monastery Conference Room at 7.45pm on Tueday, 11th March.  It’s free, open to all, and entrance is through the Monastery Reception / Shop area.

Over the course of the Tuesdays of Lent (except Tuesday, 18th March) we are inviting representatives of local charities and support groups to talk about the work they do and they people they serve.

The University of Wisconsin Eau-Claire Women’s Concert Chorale are visiting Ireland over the St. Patrick’s holiday period.  We are delighted that they will perform a concert here in the Redemptorist Church at Mount St. Alphonsus Church, Limerick on Tuesday, March 18th at 8pm.  Also featuring, from the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, ‘SONAS’ Global Vocal Ensemble and ‘Lucernarium’ ensemble of medieval song and chant.  Mainly a programme of American original composers, spirituals, medieval chant and Irish traditional music. A treasure of music for all!

Entrance is Free with a voluntary retiring collection in aid of the Redemptorist Centre of Music.

St. Clement’s College is embarking on a special mission with the Redemptorists to help students “see the bigger picture”.

The school is taking part in a week long mission with the order, whose history is intertwined with that of the Redemptorist-run St Clement’s.

All 450 students in the school are taking part in the retreat, the first time in Ireland that a school will partake in a full mission for a week.

‘A Feast of Carols and Reflections For Christmas’, at the Redemptorists, Limerick, Sunday night, 15th December, beginning at 8.15pm (after Candlelight Mass).  Featuring the Redemptorist Church Choir, Mary Immaculate College Community Choir, Limerick Gospel Choir, The Blue Monk Saxophone Quartet, Carmel Conway (Soprano), Andrew Jordan (Trumpet), Collette Davis (Piano), all directed by Paul Collins.  What a line up of talent and music to welcome the Christmas Season and all for free!! Come, join us and sing with us!
